pain is a sign

 you are trying to disconnect yourself

 from reality

how painful would it be to try to pull your finger off?

that is exactly what we are attempting to do mentally

when we try to believe a separate thought from reality/God/Truth

mental suffering is a gift

saying

OWWWWWW!

let it go NOW!

you are wrong

it is impossible

you are forever ONE

with all that is

you are LOVE

All is LOVE

All the same

nothing else is possible

come back to reality

Decide what you want

you do not want to be pulled in two opposite directions

it is very very painful

it is torture

and it is impossible it will last

and in truth it is only a dream

wake up!

see the Beauty 

all around you

shining

with crystal clarity

all clouds of indecision gone

never having really existed

at the idea

if you chop down the tree

no steaming delicious pie......
