how beautiful to dissolve
to watch,
experience,
the dissolution
of a once hardened
position,
condition
i couldn't see you
from over there,

with eye cast down
i could not see the Son
could not see the far shore,
waving hands,
smiling faces
i couldn't see you, Father
with my crooked neck
locked to the left
and being right,
handed
right hand man of "god"
i completely missed
my soft kindness
nestled just to the left,
just a bit higher,
just even a bit lower
Oh Father,
i am so sorry.
i missed you,
being stuck
looking looking looking outside
i missed seeing you
