drugfree

defense is a response

to a thought of lack

which takes the idea  of lack/threat SERIOUSLY

now we are in deep shit

we've taken a hit from the fear pipe

it flows through our veins

poisons our heart

immobilizes our decison maker

the hallucinations 

the fantasies

the trips 

begin

we are lost in "wonderland"

now everything in this unreality seems but real--

amazing or frightening or ecstatic  

but never for long

change is certain

and the end of this trip as well

we realize the effects of our fear taking

and we realize the cause

and we would no longer pop pills of fear

ADDICTION IS NOT FREEDOM

we recognize the pusher

when he comes  around

and recognize we no longer want the disastrous effects

we would no longer lose

our family

our friends

our Self

we would no longer lose our true identity

FOR NOTHING

we would no longer be homeless

under a bridge

surviving on scraps and crumbs

this is no place for Joy

today we choose Joy instead

and let ourselves be drawn to Her

wholly without fear

today we walk freely 

toward God

with no other possible goal in sight

in defenselessness lies God

in defenselessness is all freedom

in defenselessness I AM
