drivers on automatic
just passing through
doing their job
like they have for millenia

now
it finally sits still on the paper,
invited to the table
for an interview...

so
is it true
that you really want this other person
to do, be, think a certain way?
and that will make you happy
and free and safe inside?

that
will bring
awareness
of the unconditional love
you are?

someone else
can really give you
your eternal  inner joy?

now
in stillness,
face to face,
the answer is obvious
and the ancient belief is seen
for the silliness and futility
it is

there is no enemy to fight,
no thing, no thought, nor person to fear,
