inadequacy
is a lie
cowards tell themselves
so we don't have to try
so we don't find out the truth
where is the proof?
can you be absolutely certain
that you are inadequate?
how would you know?
you just keep telling yourself this...
you've never really tried
you've never given all you have
you've never given yourself to anything wholly
you've never surrendered your life
your personality
your self concept
you've never given up your beliefs about yourself
you've never thrown it all to the wind
you've never yet wildly abandoned yourself to God
you've never really let everything fall away
and be subordinate to faith
and just given yourself completely to
this big idea that is bigger than you
you are still holding on for the dear life of your personality
forget your crap
your gifts are not yours to hide
you don't belong to you
you are part of the whole
you belong to everyone
your gifts are for them
what about all those loving hearts
that are just waiting to light up as they receive your gifts?
it cannot be that life itself is incapable of
expressing itself fully
what if you made a fool of yourself?
what if you failed?
no one can fail
who goes 100% with her heart
this is life
in this moment
this is living
anything else is death
anything less is failure
we are not looking for "results"
we have no other motive
but to be true to our deepest Love
to be honest
to live totally honestly
our actions totally consistent with our thought
we can't hang onto the ground and fly!!!
we must let go completely
we must look up
and quit looking at the ground
if we want to fly
quit the reruns
it's time for the real thing!
