i draw open the blinds
and before my eyes
God
what we have named "a drop of water"
left from the rain
in the morning sun
catches me
it's pink
i shift ever so slightly
it's yellow
green
blue
lavendar
yes
it's
ALL
there
all the colors
all possibilities
in this pinpoint of light
and it is i
who but shifts ever so slightly
to see it
how very very very close are we
to such a sparkling new perception
it's all already there
so magnificent
so radiant
so breathtaking
we open the blinds
and all possibilities
are sparkling
just waiting
such a surprising beauty
and as we shift but one hair's width
in our position
is more beauty revealed
today
only this:
be willing
to shift
ever
so
slightly
