la parade

a thought

is just a thought

neither true or false

or good or bad

you can believe it is true

and so experience the effects

of your belief

the power of your belief

or

you do not believe it

and so it is nothing

to you

it means nothing

you can see/hear the thought

and not believe it

nothing happens

you do not act as if it is true

clarity

cleanness

is

the stage/

the state

of our mind

peace

allows all thoughts

to pass through

it resists no thought

nor attaches to any

but looks upon all

the children

with love

and understanding

we simply

watch

the parade

some brightly colored flags

grab our attention

some drums

trumpets

and short skirts jumping about

horses

and clowns

and

stately

officials

fascinating characters

we smile

and wave

at all

of them

and they (all thoughts

of our self concept)

wave back to us

we see

each other

we see

all

of it

and we are healed

there is nothing

separate

from us

how entertaining

we simply

entertain

thoughts....

some we seem to invite

some seem to crash the party

all of them

are our guests!

all of them

are calling for our love

and attention

and soft warm pillow to rest their head upon

give gladly all your love

to even your greatest enemy

for it is but here that it is called for...
