which holds your shining hand
up
for you to see
it has never been wasted
every fraction of a second
in precise position
for maximal love
light
i needed to look
directly at death
directly at broken heart
directly at a blue corpse
directly at the instant
of giving up entirely
on life
to realize
my error,
to ask
for correction,
to stop
everything,
sit
and wait,
unknowing
finally a blank mind
open door
room
silence for kindness
to be heard,
put my own hand
in front of my face
and name it
